Raoul Pal, a former Goldman Sachs executive, believes that the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies will soon reach $10 trillion as institutions invest in the digital assets space. He believes that family offices, which typically take on higher than average risk, were the first to invest in the space. Pal believes that institutional investment in crypto will be large enough to drive the total market cap of digital assets to more than $10 trillion, more than triple its $3 trillion market cap peak in 2021. He believes that institutions coming into the space will allow more money to come into the space via different mechanisms, such as aggregated funds, as opposed to individual accounts.
